Bayesian compressive sensing for recovering the time-frequency representation of undersampled Lamb wave signals

The characteristic extraction of ultrasonic Lamb wave is the prerequisite for its efficient utilization in structural health monitoring. In situation intentional signal compression or unexpected data missing, accurate recovery contained information challenging. To address this problem, work proposes time-frequency representation (TFR) reconstruction scheme undersampled signal. Unlike conventional method, both sparse prior and two-dimensional plane are considered design Bayesian compressive sensing. simulated adopted to validate effectiveness proposed method. Furthermore, different ratios available samples investigated analyze ratio TFR. Even if smaller than those from Nyquist rate, TFR can reach 70%. experiments using array transducers noisy environments also conducted. time-of-flight extracted recovered relative error 3%. Besides, comparisons with schemes sensing carried out demonstrate superiority.
